Veteran actress-singer Zsa Zsa Padilla was emotional as she shared how ABS CBN is a big part of her life.
On the Instagram account of the veteran Kapamilya, she posted a photo of herself with former King of Comedy Dolphy while reminiscing about her adventures and memories with the network.
“I can’t imagine my life without ABS-CBN. I’ve been with the station for many, many years. Half of my career has been spent in its studios doing ASAP, talk shows like MORNING GIRLS, talent searches STAR IN A MILLION and BORN DIVA, countless teleseryes, movies and musical specials.”

She also shared her stories with Dolphy when she accompanied her former partner to his Home Along Da Riles taping, “My children and I would even accompany Dolphy during his taping of HOME ALONG DA RILES which ran for 11 years. Dolphy used to tell me stories about his shows and personal relationship with Kapitan Geny and how they started in his studios in the Bay Area where the station was originally located.”
Moreover, the actress revealed that she considers ABS-CBN not just as a working place but as her home which honed her to be the person she is right now, “Needless to say, ABS-CBN is not only a workplace for me. It’s HOME. It’s where I grew up and reached out to our Filipino audience here and abroad. It’s how they got to know me better not only as an artist but as a person.
“It’s a place where I’ve learned to work with the best talents in the industry. It’s a place where I’ve gained friends. It is where I have become a KAPAMILYA.”
The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), upon the advice of Solicitor General Jose Calida, ordered ABS-CBN to cease airing on May 5. On June 30, NTC dealt another blow by issuing similar orders for TV Plus and Sky Direct.
This greatly affected the Divine Diva.

Zsa Zsa Padilla is a Filipina singer and actress. She is best known for her role as Helena Montoya/Red Dragon in the hit 2017 TV series Wildflower.
Zsa Zsa currently plays the character of Helen Chao, mother of David Chao played by Xian Lim, in the afternoon series, Love Thy Woman.
