After giving birth to their unica hija, celebrity mom Solenn Heussaff Bolzico revealed something about her and husband Nico’s sex life.
In the latest vlog of Solenn, the couple relayed the hardships and sacrifices they went through as first-time parents.
In one part of the video, Nico Bolzico revealed that it’s Solenn’s discretion if they should have sex after childbirth.
“For me, after women give birth, it’s on them. We just need to wait as long as they need because we didn’t go through pregnancy. We support their pregnancy. We have nothing to do with going through pregnancy. So they are the bosses.”
The actor didn’t mention that this is not an issue for him and he respects his wife’s decision when it comes to the said matter.
“If they want to go back into the action, we should be ready. If they want to wait, we should be ready. If they want to try and then they stop, we should be ready. If they want to go in a different direction than they used to before, we should be ready.”
The Kapuso actress finally revealed that she is still afraid to make love with her husband even though nine months have passed since she gave birth.
“Personally, when I was C-sectioned—and I don’t know if it’s subconsciously in my head—but we are chopped down there from nine different layers,” she said.
Her fear which arose from the operation is what’s stopping her to do the deed. “So, I’m a little bit scared and I’m not yet ready to be quite honest. I know it’s been quite a while, and some moms are gonna be like, ‘What the?!’ But that’s the truth.”
Meanwhile, Solenn stressed that having baby Thylane is one of the happiest parts of her life.
“Having a kid does not ruin your life. It just adds a different branch. I have learned so much being a mom. I have learned a new side of me that I didn’t know before whom I love. I can’t remember life without my child. I’m the happiest I could be right now because of my child.”
