Recently, Xyriel Manabat made a buzz online after posting pictures on Instagram which is very far from her image as a former child star.
The said pictures showed her sultry figure but, what netizens observed are her large breasts. Though it was out of her intention to ‘tease’ people, other netizens maliciously commented and reposted her photo.
Other people also canceled those sexualizing Manabat who is still a minor at 16 years old.

Manabat got offended from these lewd comments and labeled these as an act of sexual harassment.
“Hindi po ako napa-flatter sa ibang comments, kasi ‘yung iba po below the belt. Sana po alam nila at aware po ang tao na sexual harassment is never, never okay. Hindi po siya fine,” Manabat said.
“Sa mga nakaka-experience po lalo na po kapag minor, siyempre hindi naman po sila sanay sa ganoon. Minor man, girls, boys, anumang age, anumang gender or anuman ang suot sana po walang ganoon. Never po siyang nakakatulong. Lalo na po sa ganitong may pandemic na marami pong pinagdadaanan na mental health na problems. Huwag na pong sumabay. Respect na lang po,” she emphasized.
Her mother also said that they cannot do anything about other people’s comments.
“Wala na tayong magagawa, asset na natin ito,” her mother said.
Xyriel Manabat started her career in 2009 after joining Star Circle Quest.
She was known for her child roles in the Kapamilya network. Manabat became part of the series “Agua Bendita” and starred in Momay, and 100 Days to Heaven.
Her last project was the series “Wildflower. After that, she went full-time with her education despite the project offers she had received.
