At his grand launch as a Kapuso, actor-singer Khalil Ramos said that felt overwhelmed by GMA7’s welcome, and that he feels he is on ‘cloud 9’ moving to the Kapuso network.
“Grabe po, yung pakiramdam po ay overwhelming. Sobrang overwhelming po nung pag tanggap sakin ng Artist Center at ng GMA nitong launch ko,” said Khalil.
Then, he added that he is not used to having a grand launch as he is usually a ‘chill’ person.
“Hindi ako sanay. Sobrang hindi ako sanay. Kasi most people know me na chill lang ako. Hindi ako sanay na may ganitong grand launch and sobrang na ooverwhelm ako hindi ko alam. Kinakabahan din,” Khalil continued.
He then added that he is thankful for GMA Network and GMA Artist Center for his warm welcome to the Kapuso network. He also added that it made him really happy that he feels he is on ‘Cloud 9’.
“I am super happy with how it turned out. Of course, very thankful ako sa GMA na talagang pinaglaanan nila ng oras, lalo ang Artist Center, they’ve been very supportive. Sobrang grateful ako na maganda at mainit yung pagtanggap. Super happy that it was successful and I couldn’t ask for more really. Very happy I feel like I’m on cloud 9,” said Khalil.
Khalil began his career in July 2011. He starred in ABS-CBN teleseryes like Princess and I, and La Luna Sangre. He also appeared in films such as She’s Dating the Gangster and Kid Kulafu. Khalil rose to fame for his lead role in the 2016 movie 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten where he received nominations for Best Actor from the 12th Cinema One Originals Film Festival and 40th Gawad Urian Awards.
