Entertainment columnist/talent manager Lolit Solis once again commended GMA Network for its adjustment to the new normal.
On the Instagram account of Lolit Solis, the entertainment columnist was amazed by how GMA Network conducts its lock-in tapings and shooting with the health protocols that need to be followed.
“Hanga din ako sa GMA7 sa ginagawa nilang pag iingat sa mga taping at shoot nila Salve. Talagang sinusunod nila ang health protocols ng buong higpit para tiyakin na safe ang mga kasali sa taping. Kahit nakakapagod ang swab at quarantine na required sa kasali kahit na isang araw na guesting lang, kailangan gawin dahil nga sa pag iingat.”
She also noted how GMA made sure to take things slowly like the production of fresh new episodes unlike ABS-CBN which has already started airing fresh episodes, “Kaloka talaga pero kailangan sundin ng lahat. Slow but sure ang mga activities ng GMA7 dahil kung iisipin parang mas aggressive ang ibang network na tuloy tuloy ang trabaho, habang paunti unti muna ang GMA7. ”

“Kasi nga gusto ng GMA7 na wala talaga tamaan ng covid 19 sa mga magtra trabaho, kahit pa nga dagdag gastos at medyo mahal lumalabas para sa production, talagang sinusunod nila ang gusto ng DOH for safety.”
Last July, after one of GMA Network’s newsroom reporters tested positive for COVID -19, a group of GMA Network staff condemned the company for alleged “poor response”.
“Accordingly, workers from the GMA News and Public Affairs Department who had close contact with the patient have been notified and advised to go on self-quarantine, while others – as usual – were kept in the dark until word inadvertently spread,” read the statement from Talent Association of GMA
But GMA immediately clarified that they took immediate action when the said employee informed the network that she tested positive for COVID-19.
Solis showed her support and loyalty to GMA Network.
“Sa ngayon nga medyo abala narin sila sa mga fresh episodes at pagla launch ng mga bagong shows kung sakali. 70 years old na ang GMA 7 at sa loob ng 70 years na iyan, hayun parin sa forefront ng tv industry, kaya KAPUSO forever, dahil mula sa puso ang kanilang pagmamahal. “
