Despite being vocal when it comes to social issues, netizens chided actress Jasmine Curtis Smith for her relationship with the Department of Tourism-Ilocos director Jeff Ortega.
Netizens blasted Ortega after he posted an Instagram video wherein he referred to the former Senator BongBong Marcos as Vice President during a regional tourism event. Now, Jasmine has been caught in the crossfire.

Jasmine confirmed her relationship with Ortega in back 2016. Then, in 2019 rumors about their breakup surfaced to which the actress denied. She also recently greeted Ortega with a Happy Birthday back in March of 2020.
