DUBAI, UAE, October 2020— Overseas Filipinos from the Middle East and Europe get the support they need as they start over after the hard hit of the Covid-19 pandemic with the Php 350,000 worth of cash prizes given away at the first “TFC Win From Home Live” monthly draw, which happened last September 25, streamed via the Facebook page of TFC Middle East, TFC Europe, and TFC Kapamilya Channel, and on the TFCX Kumu account.
Among more than 12,000 entries submitted for the first monthly draw of “TFC Win From Home” in the Middle East and Europe, it is still surreal for Arlin Cobre from Saudi Arabia, Maxima de Guia from Qatar, and Mirasol Sansano from France that they were the ones who won Php 50,000 cash each. Nonetheless, they all agree that it is a big help especially amid the on-going pandemic.
For the case of Maxima de Guia, she plans to use her prize in the tuition and purchasing of items for the online class of her children. While Mirasol Sansano will be sharing her prize with her sibling whose livelihood was affected by the pandemic. And lastly, Arlin Cobre who will use her prize in paying for their land back home.
