Yves Flores recalls spending 50-80K a day in hospital for Dad; thanks showbiz friend, ABS-CBN for their help

Yves also added how ABS-CBN helped through the struggles he faced while his Dad was in the hospital.

At the press conference for the new Kapamilya Teleserye, Bagong Umaga, actor Yves Flores recalled spending 50-80K a day while his Dad was in the hospital.

Firstly, he said that it happened in 2015 when his Mom called to tell him about his Dad’s condition. Yves then narrated what happened when he arrived at the hospital and recalled the amount he spent on medical bills.

“Way back 2015, nagshoshoot kami ng Be My Lady, and then tumawag yung Mom ko. So nasa taping ako nung tumawag yung Mom ko. Umiiyak, tas di makapagsalita. Tapos ang sabi nya pala yung dad ko 50/50 nasa hospital. Akala ko pagdating sa hospital wala na yung dad ko. So that time ang laki ng bill ko sa hospital. So 50-80K per day kung di ako magbabayad di sya tuturukan ng gamot,” Yves narrated.

He then added that a showbiz friend whom he will not name helped out. Yves also added how ABS-CBN helped through the struggles he faced while his Dad was in the hospital.

“So ayun dun ko nalaman yung mga kaibigan ko sa showbiz na naubusan na ko for two months siya dun. 50K-80 masyadong mabigat. So yun may friend ako sa showbiz na di ko na papangalanan at hindi nya rin sinabi na sya yung nagpadala ng pera pang tulong. Tsaka of course ABS-CBN. Kung wala yung ABS tsaka yung friend ko na yun tsaka yung mga friends ko na tumulong, feeling ko di ko nasalba yung dad ko,” said Yves.

Bagong Umaga airs this October 26 on A2Z Channel 11, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live. It marks the first Kapamilya Teleserye to premiere its pilot episode on A2Z channel 11. Yves stars alongside Barbie Imperial, Michelle Vito, Heaven Peralejo, Tony Labrusca, and Kiko Estrada.
