Vice President Leni Robredo has earned the respect and praise of netizens over her office’s typhoon response despite the pandemic restrictions.
On Twitter, several personalities and netizens shared their praise and admiration for VP Leni’s efforts with regards to Super Typhoon Rolly.
GMA Network’s resident political analyst Richard Heydarian said he wished the Office of Vice President Leni would be given “real resources” that will help areas that will be affected by the typhoon.

Activist and known Duterte critic Leah Navarro in her tweet praised VP Leni for stepping up to her role despite President Rodrigo Duterte’s absence.

Netizen @wawam on the other hand compared VP Leni’s response to Duterte’s. According to the netizen, while Duterte took Sunday as his rest day, Robredo was on the ground in Bicol checking people’s needs.

In the tweet, the netizen thanked the Vice President for working on a weekend and a holiday to help the areas affected by Rolly while chiding Duterte for being missing in action during the time when the typhoon is ravaging parts of the country.
