One of the biggest Kapuso artists, Janine Gutierrez, is bound to be a Kapamilya this coming 2021.
As several Kapamilya stars leave the network because of their franchise denial, Janine just went against the ‘trend’ by deciding to move to ABS-CBN.
Janine’s contract with GMA Artist Center ended last November 1, 2020, and both sides did not settle on a renewal of the contract.
This decision marks the end of her nine-year showbiz career with the GMA network.
Based on reports, Janine talked with the ABS-CBN management and they already sealed a deal.
She is expected to sign her contract by the second week of January 2021 and will embark on a big change to her showbiz career.
The actress points out “artistic integrity” as the reason for her shifting of the network.
Janine is the daughter of Lotlot de Leon and Ramon Christopher Gutierrez.
As she moves to ABS-CBN, she will leave behind her boyfriend Rayver Cruz who moved from being Kapamilya to Kapuso in 2018.
