During the virtual media conference for ABS-CBN’s upcoming web series Unloving U, Ronnie Alonte revealed the secret to how he and Loisa Andalio have lasted this long.
According to him, trust and treating each other as equals are the key aspects of making a relationship last.
“Tiwala sa isa’t-isa. May tiwala kami sa isa’t-isa at nagbibigayan kami. Walang mataas, walang mababa. Nagbibigayan kami,” said the actor.
Moreover, he stressed that they do not get into petty fights. He also added that they always communicate whenever they have arguments, fixing things as soon as possible.
“Yung mga sitwasyon na pwede naming pag-awayan, hindi namin pinapalaki. Hindi namin nilalabas sa labas talaga. Kung magkaaway kami, pag-usapan namin dito. And after non, bati kaming lalabas,” he added.
Alonte is sure that if a couple respects each other, and loves each other, they will be together for a long time
“So bigayan lang, respeto sa desisyon, at yun magtatagal kayo kung may respeto kayo sa isa’t-isa. At alam niyong mahal niyo ang isa’t-isa, yun yung importante,” he said.
Meanwhile, the director of the series has something to say to the couple.
For Director Easy Ferrer, there are certain couples that upon first glance, you know will last.
“May mga couples na unang tingin mo palang alam mong tatagal sila eh,” started the director.
Additionally, Direk Easy compared LoiNie to a spoon and fork where the other is not complete without its other half.
“Kasi nagsaswak sila. Para silang kutsara’t tinidor. Parang pag wala yung isa, wala yung isa. Parang di ko maimagine na walang Loisa kapag walang Ronnie, parang ganun sila. Feeling ko sila yung magtatagal eh,” the director added.
Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte will star alongside another real life couple, Gelli de Belen and Ariel Rivera in ABS-CBN’s newest offering “Unloving U” this 2021.
The series will be available in iWantTFC this February and is directed by Easy Ferrer.
