Action star and known die-hard Duterte supporter (DDS) Robin Padilla has recently praised controversial PNP Chief Debold Sinas.
In a facebook video post, Robin shared how he was impressed by Sinas when he met him in a PNP event.
In his post, Padilla praised the PNP Chief and described how humble and passionate Sinas is by conveying his message [to the police force] about enforcing the law.
“Isang karangalan Para sa akin ang makasama aa entablado ang mga pinuno ng Philippine National Police. Isang pagkakataon na hindi malilimutan at ipagmamalaki.
“Sir PNP chief Debold Sinas napakahumble niyo po na Tao at napakasoft spoken. Sa inyong napakamakahulugan na talumpati ay ramdam ko po ang diin ng inyong salita pagdating sa pagtupad sa kanilang tungkulin. Ang inyong pagmamahal sa inyong mga pulis ay nangingibabaw pati na rin po ang inyong paggalang at pagpupugay sa kanilang mga pamilya,” said Robin.
Robin also painted the image of Sinas as a “true father and leader” to all police heroes.
“A true father and leader of our police heroes. Mabuhay po kayo. I salute to you sir chief PNP!”
Padilla’s video was taken a day after Sinas confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19. It was also a day before Sinas broke another health protocol when he skipped health screening when he arrived in Occidental Mindoro.
On Thursday, March 11, Sinas confirmed that he tested positive from COVID-19.
However, instead of following health protocols, Sinas went on a trip to Mindoro and skipped health screening when he arrived. Sinas’ action then attracted criticisms from the online community.
It was not the first time that Sinas made a breach of COVID-19 protocols. Last year, Sinas also made headlines after his birthday mañanita, which also broke health protocols.
Although Sinas apologized for the breach, he wasn’t reprimanded and instead was promoted as PNP Chief.
