In an exclusive interview with LionhearTV, Pinoy Big Brother Otso alum Jem Macatuno related the lyrics of the song Connected Na Tayo with PBB and ABS-CBN’s creed–“In the Service of the Filipino.”
Jem recounts his beloved line from the song, Connected na Tayo. Then, the PBB alum connected it to ABS-CBN’s shutdown during 2020.
He also related said lines from the song to PBB, highlighting both the network and the reality show’s efforts in helping people achieve their dreams. Jem then echoed ABS-CBN’s creed–“In the Service of the Filipino.”
“And, for me ABS and PBB isa syang, para sa akin kasi signature nya talaga ‘yan eh. So para sa akin ‘yung pangako ng ABS at ng PBB na patuloy silang, sabi nga “In the service of the Filipino,” said Jem.
Jem finally highlighted ABS-CBN’s ingenuity in finding ways to continue helping aspiring talents to achieve their dreams. He also set PBB’s return with Pinoy Big Brother: Connect pioneering in a digital platform.
Jem and fellow PBB Otso Alumni Kiara Takahashi, Shawntel Cruz, and Lie Reposposa composed and wrote the song Connected na Tayo for PBB: Connect. Jem also wrote his original composition, Can’t Get Out, for their StarPop launch.
