Today, Ontario-raised artist 347aidan drops his new song “When the Devil Cries” via 347RECORDS/Columbia Records.
Accompanying the eccentric track, Aidan is a guest star on the biggest night show in the world hosted by major YouTube influencer @im_dontai. During the show, Aidan fights between the duality of his celebrity self and his true self – paying homage to the cult classic “Joker” and donning Joaquin Phoenix inspired striking green hair with a red suit.
“I like to think of humans as puzzles and sometimes an evil, dark piece will try to take up as much space as possible,” 347aidan says about the inspiration behind the song. “We need to remind ourselves the darkness only represents one piece of us, and we are so much more than just one piece.”
“When the Devil Cries” follows the release of the Kenny Beats produced track “IDWK” dropped this past January, and his undeniably catchy single “Dancing In My Room” which has over 40M combined US streams to date and has been featured in nearly 2 million TikTok videos. The musical wunderkind, who has drawn in nearly 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, shot on to fans radars after the debut of his first song “Demons & Monsters.” 347aidan’s authenticity, diverse musical palate and relatability as an up-and-coming artist continues to attract a range of listeners from misfits, outliers, and cool kids with an internal struggle.
