On April 26, actor Kiko Estrada admitted his breakup with actress Devon Seron during an interview on ABS-CBSN’s morning show Magandang Buhay.
At the Momshie Tell-All segment of the said show, Estrada’s mother Cheska Diaz got invited via Zoom by Magandang Buhay host Jolina Magdangal and asked Cheska about the status of her son’s heart.
Estrada, as he was on the set of Magandang Buhay, made the admission and was quick to butt in and grab the chance to air his relationship status.
“I guess I can answer that. Yeah, I’ll take this from my mama. I think it’s a proper way for a man to say my status in life. Well yeah, I’m single,” he said without any hesitation.
“So I focus on work. Kasi ang pangit if my mom’s going to say this for me. So I will take this mom. My mom told me that ‘for people to respect me you have to do the right thing’.”
When asked to describe the woman she wants for her son, Cheska said, “I think Kiko can describe but I think the most important for me is that person should have God in her life.
“‘Yung kanyang relationship with God is very important with me because if you have that relationship, you are set for life, you are set for eternity. That’s the only thing I would want sana but like I told you awhile ago whoever he loves kasi you have to love also.”
Estrada and Seron starred together in at least three projects in 2012. The two then confirmed dating in January 2019. In August 2020, they celebrated their second anniversary as a couple.
The couple seemed fine until Seron’s cryptic post on Instagram sparked the speculations of her break-up with Estrada last month.
One of Seron’s cryptic posts was, “I asked God for a sign but I witnessed it for myself.”
However, it was later deleted.
Seron appeared to have removed Estrada’s photos from her Instagram account. Estrada completely wiped out his page.
Heaven Peralejo, the alleged third party in the Kiko-Devon split-up, had enough of the rumors and reiterated having no involvement with Estada.
Peralejo is Estrada’s co-star in the ABS-CBN series Bagong Umaga.
During her interview with Toni Gonzaga for I Feel U, she explained that nothing is going on between her and Estrada. The on-cam chemistry between them got painted with malice.
“Wala naman talaga, hindi totoo ‘yung issue. Nakakatawa lang siya pero nakaka-stress for me and for mom,” Peralejo said.
