Derek Ramsay backed out from his upcoming Kapuso drama series, To Have and To Hold. The series will finally push through, and the GMA network has found someone to replace the actor in the lead role.
Rumors about Ramsay backing out from the series sparked around April 2021, where sources said that the actor chose to prioritize his family’s health more than his career.
Due to the resurgence of COVID-19 cases, there is a health risk imposed once he would return to taping. The actor is also scared to undergo lock-in taping.
According to an article on PEP, his role in the series–Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino will take his place with Carla Abellana and Max Collins.
To Have and To Hold tells the story of two women who will get caught up in a web of lies, betrayals, and affairs.
Nacino is also set to star in another Kapuso drama called Artikulo 247 and will have Rhian Ramos, Mark Herras, and Jackie Rice in the cast.
However, Nacino is already relieved from the said series. It is to give way for his lead role in To Have and To Hold.
He is thankful for the role in To Have and To Hold, but he mentioned that he still needed to study his character.
Rocco Nacino is married to Melissa Gohing. They got married on January 21 this year on a naval ship.
Because of his upcoming Kapuso projects–his honeymoon in Europe is on hold at the moment.
