Kaka lead and newcomer Sunshine Guimary wants to follow the career path of Rosanna Roces.
In the press conference for the sexy comedy movie Kaka, Guimary said that she wants to follow in the footsteps of the former Sex Trip (ST) star transitioned into a serious actress.
“Nakikita ko yung part na kung gaano sya ka-open. Pag binigyan sya ng ganito, Pak ganito, ginagawa nya. Those parts, yung parts na gusto ko sa kanya na nakikita ko sa sarili ko, na kung ano yung ibabato, yung yung gagawin ko. Sana, oo syempre, Diyos ko, Lord, syempre oo naman, why not.”
Guimary emotionally thanked everyone involved with the film and the Viva family.
“Thank you, thank you so much sa opportunity na ito. (Emotional) Thank you, thank you so much po, sa Viva Family. Thank you po sa opportunity. Kay Direk GB, salamat sa mahabang pasensya. And, kay Lord, thank you so much. Kay Jerald, Miss Gina, Miss Giselle, thank you so much.
“Malaking bagay to sa akin, malaking bagay to sa buhay ko itong break na to. And, halos every night akong nagdadasal, nagpapasalamat. And, I’m so grateful sa lahat. Thank you, thank you, thank you, po. Maraming, maraming, maraming, maraming, maraming, maraming salamat po.”
Guimary became known for her lingerie posts on social media. It helped her gain a following and smoothly transitioned into the mainstream media.
The Vivamax original movie Kaka also stars Jerald Napoles and Ion Perez as her leading men. With them are Giselle Sanchez, Maui Taylor, Rosanna Roces, and Gina Pareño. GB Sampedro is its director and will start heating up this summer with Vivamax on May 28, 2021.
