Kapamilya star Jessy Mendiola reacted to the rumors about her being a “Classic Lopez Girl” during her latest YouTube vlog.
Being a Lopez girl means that an ABS-CBN talent is supposedly under the “protection” of the former ABS-CBN network CEO Eugenio Lopez III.
In Mendiola’s YouTube vlog, which premiered on Thursday, June 10, the actress answered the most Googled questions about her.
In her video, Mendiola addressed the rumors about her being a “Classic Lopez Girl” where people said that she is “untouchable” under the “Lopez protection.”
She strongly denied the rumors saying, “No. Hindi po totoo. And hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling yun but no, it’s not true.”
Rumors about the actress being a “Lopez Girl” started after a facebook fan page exposed a long list of shocking revelations about several celebrities. Among the revelations were Jessy Mendiola being a “Classic Lopez Girl.”
Some of the other revelations of the facebook page called Mystery World included Janella Salvador being a lesbian, Kris Aquino having STD, KC Concepcion is a nymphomaniac, and Maja Salvador having halitosis.
Aside from debunking the “Lopez Girl” rumors, Mendiola also answered questions about her being pregnant.
“I’m not yet pregnant.
“(But) don’t worry, if ever I’ll immediately share the news with you and won’t hide it. But right now, not yet,” she said.
The 28-year-old actress is married to Luis Manzano.
Manzano and Mendiola are a couple for four years before they got married in February this year.
However, they only disclosed the good news to the public on April 4, 2021, through Mendiola’s YouTube channel.
They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony witnessed only by family and select friends.
