Many were surprised when the ‘ABS-CBN’ signage at the ELJ building was changed to ‘ABC-ZNN’.
On June 11, Netflix also teased that something is happening in the said area at 6 pm.
It then turned out that the changing of the signage is in support of the Netflix original anime series, ‘Trese’ which also premiered on the same day.
‘ABC-ZNN’ is the fictional network portrayed in the said anime series.
At 6 pm, the building of ‘ABC-ZNN’ was also taken over by the series as it lighted up to a seemingly giant LED board showing the title ‘Trese’.

Meanwhile, Liza also expressed her excitement with the premiere of ‘Trese’. The Filipino community in the USA also encourages US viewers to watch the Filipino version of the anime series.
For US viewers, if you can, watch the Trese Tagalog version too. Its star Liza Soberano is also Fil-Am, a huge star in the Philippines, and an outspoken defender of human rights.
I hope she crosses over to Hollywood through her performance in Trese. https://t.co/MXs2kodBFp— Yong Chavez (@YongChavezLA) June 11, 2021
