Actress Bea Alonzo recently signed with GMA Network, confirming months of speculations about her network shift.

Tied with those speculations are the rumors alluding to the possible amount of her deal with the network. That said, did GMA Network offer Alonzo a two-year contract worth P200 Million?

As a result, netizens have started posting their reactions to the alleged P200-Million deal contract.

Some netizen’s expressed their support for Alonzo amid the issues and the rumored deal with GMA Network.

Ok na ako sa 200M huwag niyo na okrayin si Bea Alonzo. Kebs na. https://t.co/KcZNrh20iN

Others compared Alonzo’s career from being a Kapamilya to a Kapuso, highlighting her growth with her previous network.

As a big Fan of Bea Alonzo I just can't phantom her leaving her mother network for all theses years. Who mold her for what she is as an actor. Yes, 200m is a money probably she deserves. But sometimes it's not just all about the money. Goodluck Basha. But this would be the last

Other’s expressed their thoughts on the sheer amount of the deal itself.

₱200M for 2 years? Whoa! #BeaAlonzo #GMA7

Magbabago pa daw ang isip ni Bea Alonzo, may 3hrs pa kayo mga kapamilya forever. Ipadala nyo lang via gcash ang 200M di na sya pipirma sa GMA. Magchip-in na, mga kapamilya.

Since Alonzo is a premium artist of Kapamilya, the contract amount doesn’t come as a surprise. However, only the network and her management can give concrete details about the rumored P200-million deal.

During the interview, she clarified that she didn’t have any contract with ABS-CBN for a year before she transferred.

“And of course, ni-respeto namin ‘yung mutual decision namin na ‘yun. And, if I am not mistaken parang one year na rin ako na walang soap na ginagawa and walang contract.”

Historically, Alonzo’s two-year contract with GMA Network is not the highest recorded deal of an actress with a network. That milestone happened to the Mega Star Sharon Cuneta when she received a P1-billion offer from TV5.
