The Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil is proud of his girlfriend-actress Liza Soberano as an outspoken individual who airs her thoughts on numerous issues and exerts what she believes is right.
On a Spotify podcast, Matteo Guidicelli had an interview with Gil. He reminded Soberano to take things easy and carefully–choose her battles.
Gil stated that her girlfriend is already a woman, and she already knows what is good and what is not. He applauds her courage in being articulate on various concerns and causes.
“Sometimes, of course, it’s a little bit scary, but I mean, my woman’s brave. She’s not a girl anymore. She’s a woman,” the actor shared proudly.
“Of course, I give her advice to slow down and choose her fights.
“The Internet is not a place to be messing around sometimes because sometimes it gets a little bit stupid. But you know, that’s the only way to get to all those people also. We just want to make a change, make a better place.”
Soberano, on the other hand, expressed that her ultimate goal is to speak up. She wants to use her voice and platform to continue to influence and inspire people.
The actress shared that she dreams and hopes of making the Philippines a better place.
“Honestly, I have a lot of big dreams that don’t really seem like… I don’t really see them happening.
“But for some reason, I still want to work on them little by little. Just like speaking up on women’s rights or children’s rights or about certain things that I don’t agree with,” the actress said.
