It is confirmed that Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera will soon star in their comeback series.
The taping for the upcoming series will begin after the enhanced community quarantine in the National Capital Region (NCR) and other places are lifted.
According to reports, the celebrity couple finally agreed to undergo lock-in taping but in one condition— their kids Zia and Ziggy will be included so that they can have peace of mind.
It has been years since Dantes and Rivera starred together in a small screen project.
In her previous interview on February 2021, the Kapuso actress said that she is looking forward to a new project.
If given the chance, she also shared that she would want to work with her husband in a sitcom.
“Gusto ko sitcom para light lang. At siyempre kung may makaka-partner man lang din ako ay ire-request ko na yung asawa ko hindi ba? This year meron kaming gagawin sana matuloy. Secret pa pero sana matuloy. Secret!” she teased.
Both are known for their several hit series which earned them the crown of a Kapuso Primetime King and a Primetime Queen, respectively.
Their pair called as DongYan, was first seen in the GMA Network’s adaptation of the popular Mexican series MariMar in 2007.
Following the series’ success, the two were given more projects together including the series Dyesebel (2008), Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang (2009), Endless Love (2010), and My Beloved (2012).
