On August 19, 2021, Viva has confirmed that they are preparing a project for Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.
And according to Viva Communications Inc.’s vice chairman/CEO Vincent del Rosario, it will be much bigger than the TALA Concert.
During the media conference for VivaMax, del Rosario said that Geronimo plans to have a live event with them.
“Kasi nga nagpa-plano ‘yung ating live division ng special with our core ano, at the end of the year. But, yes, definitely, gagawa ng project si Sarah for us. Whether for Vivamax, or for Cinema or for both, mangyayari ‘yan.”
He then shared details about their plans for Geronimo’s career up to the first quarter of 2022.
“Si Sarah naman is always open to do movies with us. Syempre ang ano lang with the right material, ‘yun ang challenge sa aming creative team ay ang makahanap ng material na magustuhan ni Sarah.
“Sa ngayon nag-iipon kami ng mga materials na pwedeng mapresent sa kanya, para ma-consider niya. Pero ang earliest siguro nito ay first quarter pa next year, kung may magustuhan man siya.”
Tala: The Film Concert premiered on March 28, 2021, and it delivered mind-blowing performances from the Popstar Royalty, especially with her death-defying and spectacular numbers.
After its premiere, Vivamax featured the documentary-styled online concert in their roster of digital events available for streaming.
