Kapamilya actor Tony Labrusca received a threat of being sued for perjury by a netizen who claimed to be his close friend.
Perjury is willfully telling a lie in court after taking an oath or affirmation.
In a series of Instagram stories, one netizen with the username lyn_inductivo posted that the actor called her a liar despite everything she did to protect him.
“Talaga ba Antonio? @tony.labrusca? ‘Merely concocted to damage your reputation?’ Sinisiraan kita? Lahat ng pagtatakip at pagtatanggol ko sa ‘yo, ‘yan ako sa ‘yo. Papalabasin mo pa ako ngayon [na] sinungaling.
“I will sue you for perjury!” she said.
Labrusca previously faced a criminal complaint about aggravated physical injuries on June 4.
It was said that the actor choked the brother of LVNA Jewelry founder, Drake Dustin Ibay.
The Makati prosecutor’s office dismissed the complaint filed against the Kapamilya actor due to the technicality that it was filed past the two-month prescription period.
The netizen also called out the close friends of Labrusca to testify and push the file for perjury.
“Everyone who has witnessed what I am to you can attest that never did I not protect you, defend you, covered for you, and stand out for you.
“Yet you are saying I’m a liar? Let’s get all of them to testify! I was a big sister, a mom, a bodyguard, your shield. Always for your good! Have you heard of perjury?” she said.
When people asked if the actor apologized, lyn_inductivo revealed that the actor did not and even said that her statements are slanderous.
She also said that Labrusca’s denial of his malicious acts triggered her to speak up. She even claimed that the actor uses illegal drugs and that she has the proof for it.
“He’s in denial not only to the things he has done but also to himself. He’s a user not only of people but of drugs too. That’s not accusation, that’s the truth. If he says he’s not I have all the proofs,” she said.
