Kapuso actor Rayver Cruz after signing his contract renewal with GMA Network on September 9–also dreams of doing an action-drama Kapuso series.
“Siguro kung meron man, parang maganda rin na mag-action-drama sa GMA kasi magaling din sila sa mga gano’n eh,” he expressed during the post-virtual press conference.
Although the actor still wants to do many things as a Kapuso, doing such a genre would [definitely] be on his list.
Aside from being a future action star, Rayver also revealed he now wanted to portray characters far from his usual roles in the past.
“And siguro drama na may bali, na malayo siguro from Rayver. Na kagaya nga ng sabi ko na masarap mag-portray ng role na medyo bastos na pangit ang ugali na bad boy pero mamahalin ng tao,” he shared.
The actor was also open to the possibility of doing Boy’s Love (BL) roles in the future, saying that he is not closing his door to any projects.
“Bakit hindi? Basta maganda ang project. Kaya naman andyan ang Artist Center kasi sila talaga yung kikilatis sa isang project kung maganda eh.
“Pero wala akong sinasarado na pinto sa kahit na anong roles. Kasi mahal ko ang pag-aartista eh. Kumbaga marami pa akong gustong gawin eh. Eh kung meron mang project na dumating na gano’n, bakit hindi?”
In the meantime, Cruz is part of the Kapuso series Nagbabagang Luha which earned a lot of positive feedback from viewers, which made the actor glad about such a result.
“Sobrang ganda tumingin ng Twitter ngayon, sa social media. Kasi affected talaga sila sa mga nangyayari sa story eh.
“May mga naiinis, may mga naiinis na pa-cute. Talagang affected sila at nakatutok sila. So yun ang nakakatuwa do’n kasi updated talaga sila sa lahat nang nangyayari sa show.”
He also showed some love for their viewers by thanking them for their undying support of the show.
“At sa twitter, laging nagte-trending ang hashtag namin. So thank you guys sa suporta talaga and sa pagti-tweet lagi, sa pagko-comment sa Instagram, na-appreciate ko lahat nang ‘yon kasi alam nila ang takbo nang istorya,” thanked Cruz.
