Kris Aquino is likely supporting Vice President Leni Robredo’s presidential bid for the upcoming elections in May 2022.
Through a facebook post on her [personal] account on Wednesday, November 3, Robredo thanked Aquino and her son Josh for their support to her.
Robredo visited Tarlac that same day for the rollout of her office’s vaccine express program for an Aeta community in Capas.
VP Leni shared photos of her and said, “Had a [really] productive day in Tarlac today. will post about it later. But let me just thank Josh for surprising me with a welcome balloon when I arrived at the DIWA Center for an event.
“He is a Tarlac resident already. Thank you also, Kris, for the 100% support.”
She also remembered President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, who passed away in June 2021.
“PNoy may be gone now but Josh being there really meant a lot,” she wrote.
Though Aquino has been vocal about her support to the Liberal Party, under which Robredo sought and won the vice-presidential seat in 2016, the multi-media personality and artist previously slammed some members of the party in 2019.
Following this issue, Aquino started showing support for other politicians like Bong Go and President Rodrigo Duterte. Despite this, Aquino still showed that she is in favor of Robredo.
