John Lloyd Cruz looks forward to his future projects in his new home–the GMA network

On November 9, he signed a big contract under the GMA network which marked his comeback in the showbiz industry.

John Lloyd Cruz is excited about his future endeavors in the Kapuso network after he was officially introduced as the newest addition to the roster of talents of the Kapuso station on November 8.

On November 9, he signed a big contract under the GMA network which marked his comeback in the showbiz industry.

In an interview after the contract signing, the actor revealed that he was looking for a home for his project and was glad that he found it in the Kapuso network.

“Hindi namin alam kung paano matutupad ang vision namin para sa programang ito. Napakalaking gift na nakahanap kami ng tahanan sa GMA.

“I have so much to look forward to and am looking forward to a series of pitches from the creative minds of GMA. Ang daming puwedeng magawa and I can’t wait to hear them all,” he said.

When asked about the Kapuso stars that he wanted to work with, he explained that the project’s story would come first.

“I’d like to follow ‘yung content and ide-demand ng material. There will be new roles to discover and new narratives to explore,” said Cruz.

As Bea Alonzo also transferred to GMA Network on July 1, fans are hoping to see the two in a project together. Cruz then revealed that he is open to working with his long-time screen partner from his previous home network.

“Napakagandang opportunity for Bea and I, we have an opportunity to encounter new narratives, mga bagong storya at bagong kwento na hindi pa namin nagagawa,” he said.

With Cruz, recently joining the Kapuso family, some Kapuso stars have already expressed their interest in working with him, too.

In an interview on October 15, Alden Richards admitted that he wished to work with Cruz.

“Mas game pa po sa game,” Richards said.

Marian Rivera also revealed that she is willing to work with Cruz if the GMA network were to pair them.

“Why not ‘di ba? Sure! Ako pa ba? Kahit sino sa akin, walang masamang tinapay sa akin. Kung ano ang ibigay ng GMA, kung sino ang i-partner nila at kasama ko, ay nako, I look forward to that,” she said.

John Lloyd Cruz is set to work on a Mortiz-helmed sitcom titled Happy Together. The cast includes Carmi Martin, Jayson Gainza, Miles Ocampo, and Janus Prado.
