Even without a powerful pre-programming or post-programming, ABS-CBN’s longest-running series ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ continues to perform well in ratings.
Currently, ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ is the only Kapamilya show capable of competing against top-rating Kapuso shows.
The programs that come before ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’—’TV Patrol’ (Kapamilya Channel), ‘Primetime Zinema’ (A2Z), ‘Niña Niño’ (TV5) are also not strong enough to give the show a push in ratings.
‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ used to have a strong post-programming with ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba’; however, the show ended last month, so, currently, the former is left alone and independent.
Despite this, the Coco Martin-starrer series continues to compete well in ratings and online views.
On November 29, ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ ranked third in the rating chart of AGB Nielsen with a 10.8% rating.
The following day, the Kapuso series ‘The World Between Us’ surpassed ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’, which dropped to the fourth spot with a 9.8% rating.
On December 1, the show remained in the fourth spot, but its rating again fell to 9.2%.
In terms of online views, the episodes of ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ earned around 820k to 1.1 million views per episode from November 29 to December 1.
This week, Aurora, the character of Sharon Cuneta, will reminisce about her bitter and painful past as she comes back to the Philippines to take care of her father, Don Ignacio (Tommy Abuel), who is in bad health after an attempted murder by Mara (Julia Montes).
