Young male star Grae Fernandez made a career change as he is set to pursue solo projects rather than being in a love team projects.
Grae is the son of Mark Anthony Fernandez and the banner new star of the Virtual Playground talent agency which is owned by Dondon and Roselle Monteverde.
In an interview with the Monteverde brother-sister tandem with ABS-CBN News, they revealed that Grae will explore doing solo projects to have a new way of showcasing his skills.
“Before, when we talked about Grae, parang laging kailangan may ka-love team agad. This time, kailangan dapat maiba ‘yung mga formula in doing things.
“It’s time to explore new ways of actually showcasing his talent,” said Dondon.
He added that they are working on projects that will best suit Fernandez’s skills and requests.
“Makikita mo very much involved siya sa mga role na gusto niyang gampanan.
“Makikita mo ‘yung bata, nag-iisip talaga. He wants to grow in his craft, so we’re actually talking of creating new films for him na talagang babagayan ‘yan,” he said.
To recall, Grae Fernandez was paired with Kira Balinger on Funny Ka, Pare Ko on CineMo sitcom’s fifth season. They got reunited via ABS-CBN’s hit series, Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.
Their chemistry in the series as Hope Villarosa and Jake Zulyani earned praises from the netizens.
However, with the recent statement of his talent agency, it is unlikely the actor would focus more on solo projects rather than building his love team.
