Kyline Alcantara admitted her relationship with Mavy Legaspi in her YouTube vlog uploaded on Monday, December 20.
The two Kapuso stars answered questions from the netizens on Instagram.
“Is it true na you are in a relationship?” a netizen asked.
Alcantara responded, “It’s a yes!”
“It’s a yes. It’s like friendship na relationship. Kung anong meron kami, it’s really our own,” Alcantara explained.
“There are many types of relationship, and kung ano man ang meron kami ngayon, it’s really our own,” she added.
Alcantara said he appreciated Legaspi as he stayed by her side even though she pushed him away several times.
“The fact that he’s always there even though ilang beses ko siya pinu-push away. Kung alam n’yo lang, he’s always there.
“And I’m not gonna deny it, I took advantage of it. I just feel so guilty and sorry about that and of course sad about that. Like hindi ko siya binigyan ng chance to show his self to me.
“Kaya lagi kong sinasabing lagi siyang nandyan everytime na nasa rock bottom ako but then I realized na… Ahhh, kaya pala lagi siyang nandyan kasi he’s taking care of me from a distance,” she said.
A question from the netizens was then directed to Legaspi.
A netizen asked, “Kailan mo na-realize na gusto mo na jowain si Kyline dahil hindi mo na siya pang-tropa?”
“Yan! Yan talaga! Ito ‘yung pang-1 million views,” he quipped.
The actress butted in, “Is this Kenzo? Ow shocks!”
“Tapos nandoon ‘yung Honne. Ang ganda pa naman ng music tapos ayun lang, tumibok ‘yung puso ko,” Legaspi answered.
Alcantara then smiled shyly because of his answer to the netizen’s question.
Alcantara and Legaspi are working together for the ongoing teleserye I Left My Heart in Sorsogon and Heart Evangelista, Paolo Contis, and Richard Yap.
Dating rumors about the two spread online after Legaspi shared a zoomed-in girl photo on Instagram in June 2021. The face, which has dimples poked by a finger, was Alcantara’s. The two Kapuso stars have been known as good friends.
During the media conference for I Left My Heart in Sorsogon on November 5, Legaspi and Alcantara admitted that their “relationship” leveled up after being friends for three years.
