Miles Ocampo, Jayson Gainza bid goodbye to ABS-CBN bosses

Miles Ocampo and Jayson Gainza said that they had expressed their goodbyes to ABS-CBN bosses during the virtual mediacon held on Friday, December 17, thus, they are now open to accepting projects from GMA Network.

Ocampo and Gainza are part of the upcoming sitcom Happy ToGetHer led by John Lloyd Cruz.

Ocampo expressed her gratitude to Joey Abacan, the First Vice President for Program Management of GMA Network, for accepting her.

She stated, “Kung saan po may nagtitiwala sa akin, and sobrang thankful ako na may mga taong naniniwala po sa kaya kong gawin at kung ano ang puwede kong ma-offer. Sa ngayon po, wala po akong masasabi kundi sobrang thankful po ako kina Sir Joey na tinanggap nila ako.”

When asked if she’s willing to do a drama series with GMA Network, Ocampo replied that she would definitely accept it.

“Opo naman po. Yes po,” Ocampo responded.

She added, “Nandito na po ako sa stage ng buhay ko na siguro, nakita niyo na rin ako lumaki. Ngayon po, puwede na po ako gumawa ng kahit ano na kung saan merong role na may story na babagay for me. Go po ako dun.”

Gainza said that he got the permission of Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN, for his new project in the Kapuso network.

“Ako naman po, okay naman po sa akin. Nagpaalam naman po ako sa Star Magic,” Gainza explained.

Gainza is currently a freelance artist.

“And maraming salamat po, Sir Joey, na tinanggap niyo ako dito sa Kapuso. Kaya ang tawag po sa akin ay Katrabaho. Puwede ako sa Kapuso, sa Kapatid, at Kapamilya… Katrabaho. Kung mabibigyan po ako ng chance po, ang mabigyan po ako ng teleseries dito sa GMA, malugod ko pong tatanggapin para ma-share ko rin po ang talent ko.”

He quipped, “Kasi, nasa cabinet lang. Dapat i-share.”

Happy ToGetHer is slated to air on Sunday, December 26, 2021. It also stars Janus Del Prado, Carmi Martin, Eric Nicolas, and Ashley Rivera.
