Karen Davila hit back on a basher, who claimed that she did nothing but travel as posted on her Instagram on Monday, January 10.
Davila explained in her post that she and her family contracted COVID-19 which is why she was not seen on TV Patrol recently.
She wrote, “First Work Week of 2022 WFH for #ANCHeadstart. Many of you have asked why I wasn’t on TVPatrol for our free TV @a2zchannel11 launch.
“Five days ago, our family tested POSITIVE for COVID19. Our 14 yr old son Lucas first tested positive on antigen and we immediately took an RT PCR test as a family.
“Praise God our symptoms are MILD and I believe that is because we have all been vaccinated & 2 have us have had booster shots.
“Lucas completed his vaccinations last October. David & I had booster shots last Dec 18. My husband DJ is fully vaccinated & has yet to take his booster shots.
“Our kids had fever, a scratchy throat, coughing. I experienced fatigue & a lump in my throat. Thank God we are all recovering very well! Thank you @lifecoreph for your effective protocol.
“I am extremely grateful that while taking care of the kids, I was still able to do #ANCHeadstart in the mornings. I have learned to treasure this quiet time at home for prayer, healing & resting. Praise God for being with us every step of the way. We love you Lord.
“GUYS. The vaccines work! We are living proof. Get your shots. Get your boosters NOW. Do this out of love for yourself & your family this 2022.”

In the comment section of her post, a netizen said, “All she does is travel and go out with her family to Boracay.”
The netizen was probably referring to Davila’s vacation trip in Boracay with her celebrity friends for the Christmas season in 2021.
Davila responded that she was just having her vacation with her family at the time.
Davila replied, “@khalid.alsugair ‘all she does???’ Dude, I’ve been a full-time working mother all my life.
“Don’t you dare make mothers feel guilty for wanting a vacation & wanting to spend time with their kids. Get a life man!”
