Kylie Padilla is making a showbiz comeback! She declared that the year 2022–is her year.
During her interview on 24 Oras on January 19, the actress shared that she is excited to work with Rayver Cruz. But she is ready to make a showbiz comeback as she will star in a Kapuso series with Cruz.
“Nakaka-excite kasi okay kasama si Rayver, e. Masayang tao rin naman siya. Hindi ba kapag ganyan, matagal-tagal mong makakasama ‘yung tao so kailangan jive kayo.
“To be really honest, never pa ako nag-billiards, hindi ko siya ma-grasp. But when I did lessons yesterday, parang nagkaroon ako ng confidence na kaya ko pala with the right teachers,” she said.
The 29-year-old Kapuso star shunned away from the limelight ever since she ‘called it quits’ with her estranged husband Aljur Abrenica in July 2021.
In her now-deleted Instagram post, Padilla shared a photo with the caption: “I’m claiming it. This year is gonna be my year.”
For her upcoming Kapuso series, she will portray the character of a billiard genius. Billiards World Champion and National Team Member Johann Chua and professional billiards player Geona Gregorio trained Padilla for her role in the series.
