Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey De Leon reveal why they don’t get burned out hosting ‘Eat Bulaga’

On January 11, seasoned hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon revealed their reasons why they don’t get burned out from hosting the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.

During a media conference for the 42nd year of Eat Bulaga, Tito Sotto said Eat Bulaga is his foundation and therapy in pursuing his career politics.

Kapag nasa Eat Bulaga ako feeling ko, parang it gives me new strength.”

Vic Sotto added that the seasoned hosts don’t feel burned out because they enjoy the working environment in Eat Bulaga.

For me ‘yun ‘yung pinaka importante, ‘yung enjoy ka sa kasama mo.

De Leon then echoed Vic’s reason, emphasizing the importance of enjoying what they do as hosts of the longest-running noontime show.

Basta na-eenjoy mo ‘yung ginagawa mo, ayaw ko ng burn out, burn out. Wala ‘yun.”

Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey Reyes began hosting Eat Bulaga on RPN 9 in 1979, then moved to ABS-CBN in 1989. After that, Eat Bulaga partnered with GMA Network in 1995 and has been a Kapuso ever since.

The noontime show is currently halfway through its 42nd year on-air and marked its 42nd anniversary in the middle of 2021.
