More actresses have voiced their support to Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo as they too were hoping for a change after the national elections.
Most of these artists like Angel Aquino, Maxene Magalona, and Carmi Martin were looking forward to having a clean and honest government.
“Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo dahil sa gobyernong tapat, maisusulong ang tunay na pagbabago para sa kapakanan, kaunlaran at kasaganahan ng lahat,” Aquino wrote.

“Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo dahil sa Gobyernong Tapat, mapayapa ang puso’t isipan ng lahat,” said Magalona.
Martin, on the other hand, endorsed Robredo through a video posted on facebook.
“Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo para sa gobyernong tapat at siguradong maayos natin ang lahat,” she expressed.
Young artist Sarina Sasaki likewise share the same reason as she stated, “Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo dahil sa gobyernong tapat, may hinahon ang puso nating lahat.”
Meanwhile, award-winning actress Iza Calzado is looking forward to having Robredo solve problems such as hunger, unemployment, and the pandemic.
“Nakikiisa ako sa laban ni Ma’am Leni Robredo. Isang mahusay at mabuting babae ang gagabay at tutulong sa atin para ayusin ang ating pagka-gutom, kawalan ng trabaho, takot at sakit.”
Seasoned actress Cherry Pie Picache is hoping, through Robredo’s leadership, that Filipinos will have a brighter future.
“Pangarap ko rin ito dahil isa rin akong ina at sigurado ‘ko, sa lahat po sa atin, ito rin ang pangarap natin para sa mga anak natin at sa kanilang magiging anak. Yung magkaroon tayo ng isang kinabukasan na p’wedeng mangarap, yung may pag-asa, yung puno nang pagmamahal. Isang kinabukasang kulay rosas ang buhay,” she stated during Robredo’s proclamation rally in Naga City.
The Office of the Vice President (OVP) led by Robredo has achieved great feats during her term. Programs for youth and women empowerment, healthcare, education, as well as sustainable livelihood and training have achieved great success.
Plans for rural development, housing, and settlement, including disaster relief and rehabilitation were also successful.
Robredo’s biggest achievement, however, was her pandemic response wherein her 2020 and 2021 budget was allocated to her COVID-19 programs such as Bayanihan E-Konsulta, Swab Cab, Vaccine Express, Community Learning Hubs, and Community Mart to help Filipinos overcome the situation.
The OVP is also a role model of transparency as it is not only ISO certified for the past six years but also holds the highest audit rating from the Commission on Audit (COA) for three consecutive years.
Apart from the actresses mentioned above, Agot Isidro, Rita Avila, Nikki Valdez, Charlene Muhlach, Yayo Aguila, Jolina Magdangal, Rica Peralejo, and others have endorsed the VP.
