The five-member all-girl idol group was introduced to the public in November 2021. Being under ShowBT Philippines, the talent and training management of the so-called ‘P-POP Kings’, SB19, there is a pressure—whether they like it or not—from fans and critics alike, for them to take the same path as their predecessor. It is one feat that KAIA seems all-geared up to make.
With ‘Blah Blah’, Alexa, Angela Charlotte, Charice, Joanna, and Sophia can showcase their massive artistic growth in a short period–it takes the only sincere dedication of the members and guidance from their mentors and management.
The new single has a sense of maturity in it. It talks about moving on from failed romances but also has this tendency to highlight the girls’ still young, albeit already extraordinary, talents.
Like Kaya, Blah Blah is a collaborative artistic effort among the five girls, who penned the words of the song. Once again, the music is composed and arranged by Korean composer, OhWon Lee.

Angelo Balanon has a compelling vision for the track’s music video, which pretty much translates to its glamour and simplicity. It is both a visual and emotional showcase that reflects not just what the track represents, but also the journey of the KAIA as an emerging visual group. Although there are no visceral themes explored, Blah Blah is a wildly entertaining track that perfectly captures the sonic and electro-pop rhythms that are inherently embedded in many idol groups’ styles.
KAIA thrives in that effort very well, which only gives them the confidence to take their bid to make a name in the ever-growing P-POP idol scene.
