On May 31, Viva actor Diego Loyzaga admitted that he fell in love with a heartless person.
During the media conference for How to Love Mr. Heartless, Loyzaga recalled his failed relationship with a cold or heartless person.
“Ako anong ginawa ko, naghiwalay kami. Hindi nag-work.
“She wasn’t heartless all the time pero, may times na heartless siya. I’m not naming names ha. Hindi ninyo alam kung sino ‘to baka maging issue pa ‘to.”
He also noted that he gives too much in his romantic relationships.
“Lahat-lahat, that’s my toxic trait, I always give too much and hindi ako nagtitira para sa sarili ko, pero I’m working on it.”
He then shared his love advice for those who want to rush into relationships.
“Chill love yourself first. Please. Wala kang maibibigay sa relasyon kung hindi mo mahal ang sarili mo. Unang-una. Magiging toxic lang kayo tapos, yeah it will get shitty.”
Loyzaga was in a relationship with Kapamilya artists Barbie Imperial in 2020 and Sofia Andres in 2017. There were also rumors that he and Julia Montes had a romantic connection in 2011.
Currently, Loyzaga is reportedly single after his breakup with Imperial.
As for his upcoming movie, Loyzaga stars in How To Love Mr. Heartless alongside Sue Ramirez. Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, the bittersweet romantic film premieres on Vivamax Plus on June 10, 2022, and streams worldwide on Vivamax on June 17, 2022.
