Ruffa Gutierrez was surprised at the joke of her ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas about their children.
On Father’s Day on June 19, Ruffa decided to bring her children, Lorin and Venice, to Istanbul, Turkey, to celebrate with their father. The two haven’t seen their father for about 15 years. Lorin is 18 years old, while Venice is 17.
Ruffa even shared a short video of their reunion on Instagram.
“Trust in God’s perfect timing. It took patience and a whole lot of faith, but everything was worth the wait,” the caption says.

Ruffa is currently one of the celebrity judges for It’s Showtime’s ‘Sexy Babe’ segment.
In the June 16 episode of the noontime show, Ruffa talked about her children’s trip to Turkey to meet their father.
She said that Lorin and Venice asked to stay longer with their father, but Ruffa denied this.
She even shared a conversation that she had with her ex-husband. Since Yilmaz did not see his children for 15 years, he joked that Ruffa would also not see them for 15 years.
“My God, nagbiro pa yung tatay. Sabi pa naman, ‘Ay, I didn’t see them for 15 years. ‘Wag kang mag-alala for 15 years din…next mo sila makikita after 15 years din.’ Sabi ko, ‘Ganun?’” said Ruffa.
Meanwhile, Ruffa Gutierrez became emotional in It’s Showtime during the show’s Father’s Day celebration as she recalled the tough times she had in raising her kids by herself.
