On July 7, Kaori Oinuma maintained that she had no comment about her former love team partner Rhys Miguel.

In an interview, a reporter asked about Oinuma and Miguel, and the Kapamilya artist maintained that she didn’t want to comment on her former scene partner.

Instead, she discussed why she became emotional on the second season of He’s Into Her because of a missing cast member.

“Well, kasama na siguro ‘yung– totoo namang nangyari talaga ‘yun. Kaibigan ‘yung tingin namin doon sa character na nawala, so masakit para sa lahat sa amin ‘yun. Di lang naman para sa akin.

“And siguro, ‘yung mga iyak scenes ko nadadala ko minsan kapag kasama ko sila lahat. Pag nakikita ko sila, bumabalik sa akin ‘yung memories na ay dati nandito siya, ngayon wala na. So, pagka ganon automatic na umiiyak na ganon. So ganon ‘yung hugot ko.”

She talked about her character arc after Tobi ghosted Michiki in He’s Into Her Season 2.

“‘Yung mga first episodes kasi ng Season 2 po, ‘yung character ko, siyempre umiiyak kasi na-ghost ni Tobi, nagkaroon ng isang moment doon, na monthsary ng lahat, so may scene doon na parang naiiyak ako, nalulungkot ako kasi may kulang, which is ‘yun talaga ‘yung nararamdaman ko kasi kapag nakikita ko sila lahat, kulang, kulang ‘yung character na ‘to, wala siya dito.”

She also noted that she grew as an artist with her career as a solo Kapamilya star.

“Actually ngayon po, parang feeling ko mas nag-go-grow ako sa–para kasi noong simula ng Love at First Stream nag-iba-iba na ‘yung partner ko, Tara G, dito sa Season 2, and then sa Kiss Master, and parang feeling ko mas mag-go-grow ako.”

KaoRhys was the name of the former pairing of Oinuma and Miguel. Their pairing got created after exiting Pinoy Big Brother Otso.

They both worked on The Four Bad Boys and Me and the first season of He’s Into Her.

Miguel dropped out of their first movie project Love At First Stream, due to ‘personal matters,’ in which Jeremiah Lisbo stepped in for the role.

As for his role in He’s Into Her Season 2, Miguel’s character, Yakiro Tobi Yanai, was missing from the series. Viewers discovered that Tobi and his family left in a hurry due to a scandal, which left Michiko, Oinuma’s character in tears.

Catch Michicko’s (Oinuma) journey in the remaining episodes of the Kapamilya romantic comedy He’s Into Her Season 2.

The series stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano alongside young Kapamilya stars such as Dalia Varde, Jeremiah Lisbo, Joao Constancia, Criza Taa, Vivoree Esclito, Mikha Lim, Ashley Del Mundo, Gello Marquez, Limer Veloso, Rajo Serrano, and Turs Daza.
