Maja Salvador expresses gratitude toward ‘Eat Bulaga’ for making her a regular host

During Eat Bulaga’s Monday, July 18 episode, Salvador turned emotional after being introduced as the newest EB dabarkads or a regular host of the show.

Actress-dancer-host Maja Salvador expressed her full gratitude to Eat Bulaga! for the opportunity to be part of the noontime show as a regular host.

During Eat Bulaga‘s Monday, July 18 episode, Salvador turned emotional after being introduced as the newest EB dabarkads or a regular host of the show.

In the show’s Bida Next segment, Maja can’t help but get emotional as she recounts her beginnings with the Kapuso noontime show.

“Sorry, siguro po sobrang overwhelming lang last Saturday sa segment na ibinigay sa akin ng EB [Eat Bulaga] tapos ngayon pine-present niyo naman ako na one of the dabarkads so parang nagsi-sink-in bigla na parang ‘Ay parang naiiyak ako? sorry po.’

“Totoo po yung [sinabi ko noong] ni-launch ako [dito] from bata na nakikinood lang [sa TV ng] kapitbahay, fan ng ‘Little Miss Philippines,’ and now nandito [sa Eat Bulaga], binigyan ng segment, grabe ‘yung love and support na binibigay tapos ngayon itong segment na ‘Bida Next’ parte [ako] ng dabarkads talaga so ‘yun po parang naging [emosyonal] ako.”

Meanwhile, in an Instagram post on Sunday, July 17, she thanked the Eat Bulaga family for allowing her to host her segment and to be an instrument for other dancers to fulfill their dreams.

“Punong puno ng saya ang puso ko, mga Dabarkads! Again, maraming Salamat @eatbulaga1979 sa pagbigay sa akin ng isang magandang segment na nagbibigay inspirasyon at pagkakataon sa lahat ng may mga pangarap.”
