At the media conference for ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 23, Kapuso star Barbie Forteza attested that Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose is happy with Rayver Cruz.
Forteza highlighted how happy she felt seeing her best friend and co-star achieve the happiness she deserves.
“Happy sila ngayon? Ay oo, kitang-kita ko naman po na sobrang saya po ng best friend ko, ng kaibigan kong si Asia’s Limitless Star, Julie Anne San Jose, which I really believe na matagal na niyang deserve.
“Kasi nga sinasabi ko nga sa kaniya, ‘Diyos ko, na-achieve mo na lahat, nakuha mo na lahat, siguro personal happiness na lang ang kulang I guess.'”
She then disclosed the projects lined up for both San Jose and Cruz.
“And now, nakikita ko naman na napakabait ni Rayver, so I’m very happy na he makes her happy and ngayon na magkasama sila sa America. So ayun I’m very, very excited, ang alam ko may upcoming concert pa sila, ang daming in-store for them. And I’m just so happy for them both personally and professionally.
“Mukha silang inspired parehas sa lahat po ng nangyayari sa kanila.”
Forteza also emphasized how the cast of Maria Clara at Ibarra, including San Jose, built a family during their lock-in taping.
“Nakakatuwa kasi, sa isang buwan na lock-in, na wala kang kasamang ibang pamilya o mahal sa buhay, nakabuo kami ng pamilya within our production. Nagtulungan kami, pagkamayroong nagkakasakit, lahat nag-aalala. ‘Yun talagang naging pamilya kami.”
Barbie Forteza and Julie Anne San Jose star in the Kapuso period-fantasy series, Maria Clara at Ibarra, alongside Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo.
The series boasts a power-house cast of Kapuso talents, such as Tirso Cruz III, Manilyn Reynes, Rocco Nacino, David Licauco, Juancho Trivino, Juan Rodrigo, Lou Veloso, Ces Quesada, Dennis Padilla, Gilleth Sandico, Karenina Haniel, and Andrea Torres.
