On September 13, Vivamax talent and Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Janelle Tee believed that her family is still mad with her decision to enter the entertainment industry, let alone become a sexy star.
The former beauty queen shared during the Escort Wife press conference that she has yet to talk to her parents about her choice to become a sexy symbol.
“Hindi talaga namin pinag-uusapan ang pagpapa-sexy ko. Mas better na rin po na ganoon kasi nga nasa Davao sila, wala naman sila dito with me. So hindi talaga nila nakikita or kung napapanuod man nila, sa interviews lang. I hope, I hope na they’re also proud of me in terms of the acting skills na naipapakita ko. Pero I know, until now, ‘yung pagpapa-sexy, siyempre alam ko na hindi pa rin nila tanggap,” she said.
Previously, Tee disclosed during her press con for the sexy movie Pusoy that her family objected to her plan to pursue acting.
“Kasi lahat talaga most especially my family, you know doesn’t support me parang… baka maiyak ako.
“Mahirap sobra! Risk taker ka nga, so, walang kasiguraduhan ‘yung pangarap mo kung baga and a lot of doors really closed on to me, ang daming ‘no,’ ang daming rejection, and ‘yung family mo, hindi rin naniniwala sa pangarap mo. So, ‘yun ‘yung pinaka grabe na risk na up to this day, you know I’m pursuing it.
“But it’s all worth it kasi nga if it’s there in your heart, God really planted it for a reason. Eh, kumbaga, hindi ka matatahimik,” she said, teary-eyed.
Apart from Pusoy and Escort Wife, Tee starred in sexy films like Kinsenas, Katapusan, and Secrets. She will also be leading a four-part Vivamax mini-series titled An/Na.
