Christian Bables considers himself a straight man but is open to the idea of being attracted to the same sex.
On November 15, during an interview with Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi, Bables disclosed his sexual preference.
“If you think that I am good at what I do, thank you! I appreciate that po.
“Maraming salamat. Malaking bagay ‘yun para sa amin na ma-appreciate yung aming hard work pagdating sa aming craft. With the question ‘Ano ba talaga si Christian Bables?’ Well, I identify (myself) as a straight guy, a straight man. My preference, and my attraction is with the opposite sex,” he said.
Bables admitted he is open to being attracted to the same sex.
“But, kung isang araw, i-switch ni God ang puso ko, sabihin niya ‘Christian, bibigyan kita ng special ability at another blessing na to be able to appreciate and romantically be attracted or love sa same sex, a person of the same sex, wala akong magiging objection doon…” he added.
Bables and Kempee De Leon portrayed gay roles in the movie–Mahal Kita, Beksman (2022).
The former also played a gay character in Die Beautiful (2016) with Paolo Ballesteros.
