At the media conference for the Kapuso star on November 29, GMA Network star Kelvin Miranda revealed why he remained single.
The singer/actor asserted that it was difficult for him to get into a relationship because of his career as one of GMA Network’s rising stars. However, he noted that he’s still open to dating.
He explained,“Kasi po sa totoo lang parang sa estado ng buhay ko ngayon o ng career ko, parang ang hirap din po na papasok pa…Natural naman po ‘yan, ‘yung nakikipag-date. Pero, ‘yung talagang intimate na ano, parang hindi pa po masyadong kaya ng sarili ko mismo dahil po sa obligations, responsibilities.”
Miranda then confessed that he would rather have a romantic connection with someone outside showbusiness.
He expressed, “Hindi naman po iniisip ko na baka pag may makilala ako or may pinapasok ako, madi diskaril, kumbaga para sa akin lang po kasi pag pumasok po sa love life kasi hindi lang siya relationships na nandiyan lang, obligation mo din na gampanan ‘yung responsibility mo bilang partner, di ba? So, mahirap din naman po, sa totoo lang. Hindi po siya madali, kaya nakakatakot po siyang harapin.”
Miranda rose to prominence through his work on Kapuso shows such as The Lost Recipe, Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss, and the sitcom Tols.
He also has a thriving music career, having released the song Slow Dance in 2021 and his most recent single, Sumayaw, through GMA Music.
‘Sumayaw’, composed by Nhiko Sabiniano and produced by Paulo Agudelo, is currently available on all digital streaming platforms. Miranda also released the performance video of the song via GMA Music’s YouTube Channel.
