At the media conference for the Vivamax film ‘La Querida’, which LionhearTV covered on January 27, Viva actor Arron Villaflor attested to how his latest film would leave a mark on him as an actor.
Villaflor highlighted the authenticity of the storyline of the Vivamax film ‘La Querida’. He said this film makes a mark because of the rawness of the emotions; it is a story about relationships.
He added, “So ang sarap, ang sarap gawin dahil real emotions. Lalong lalo na mahilig tayong mga Pilipino sa mga–na makielam sa ibang mga relasyon. So ito na rin ‘yung para sa amin, at masasabi ko na matutuwa din ‘yung mga manonood kapag napanood nila ‘to.”
He also differentiated his role in ‘La Querida’ from his previous intense and complicated Vivamax characters. Villaflor shared, “This is something different from my past projects na nagawa ko na, so para sa akin may puso talaga siya. Ang sarap, ang sarap, kung malalaman ninyo lang talaga, ang sarap panoorin nito..kaya pati kami, excited na rin kami sa pelikula namin. So trailer lang ‘yan so lahat ng mga nagtatanong, patikim pa lang ‘yan sa trailer, ang gusto nga kasi ni Direk, ayaw niya rin ma-compromise ‘yung ibang eksena, na makita sa trailer. So ‘yun ‘yung aabangan ng tao.”
He then explained how the Vivamax film helped him learn as a person.
The actor shared that the film is different from the ones he has already made; it is a film that teaches what to do and what not to do. He reasoned, “Kasi, somehow lumambot din ‘yung puso ko, and somehow, di man nangyari sa totoong buhay ko, nagkaroon ka ng idea na rin.”
Villaflor stars in the Vivamax film La Querida with Angela Morena, Mercedes Cabral, and Jay Manalo.
The Vivamax original also features other Viva stars, such as Josef Elizalde, Alona Navarro, Andrew Muhlach, and Jiad Arroyo.
Under the direction of GB Sampedro, the interweaving intimate love stories of ‘La Querida’ premiere on Vivamax on February 10.
