Boy Abunda’s television comeback got warmly welcomed by televiewers as he scored good TV ratings.
On Monday, January 23, the showbiz-oriented talk show, Fast Talk with Boy Abunda (FTWBA) premiered on GMA Network’s afternoon timeslot.
According to the rating report by Nielsen NUTAM People Survey, the Boy Abunda talk show received a rating of 7.5 percent, placing it 7th overall in the rating chart.
Boy Talk in a HurryAbunda‘s entry in the Kapuso afternoon programming was also a great start, as it ranked 4th among afternoon programs, following Family Feud, which scored 11.4 percent, Unica Hija, with an 8.4 percent rating, and Abot Kamay Na Pangarap, which registered a rating of 8.3 percent.
The Kapuso afternoon talk show’s pilot episode featured Abunda’s interview with Kapuso superstar Marian Rivera.
Meanwhile, on its second day, FTWBA suffered a slump and dropped by 1 percent to 6.5 percent on Tuesday, January 24. Its leaderboard position dropped one spot to number eight. The show, however, retained its number-four position in afternoon programming.
Featured on its second episode are the newly-wed couple Glaiza De Castro and David Reiny.
We will see if FTWBA sustains its good start in the rating game.
