Kapuso period-fantasy series Maria Clara ay Ibarra (MCAI) remained the country’s undisputed number one drama series.
According to the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey for January 2 to January 6, MCAI is still the overall number-one drama program in the Philippines.
MCAI started the year with a rating of 12.6 percent on January 2. It had a 0.6-percent to 13.2-percent boost on Tuesday, January 3.
On Wednesday, January 4, the Barbie Fortesa-led series dropped to 12.7 percent, cutting 0.5 percent from its previous day’s rating. However, it bounced back significantly on Thursday, January 5, adding 1.5 percent to 14.2 percent.
At the end of 2023’s first week, MCAI again moved down, slashing one- percent from Thursday’s rating of 14.2 percent to 13.2 percent.
Meanwhile, the series attracted a huge following for its trending episode on January 6, and was warmly received and commended by the netizens.
