GMA Network’s newest action-comedy series, ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis,’ did not only receive a warm reception from televiewers but also from netizens.
In fact, the pilot episode of the series, which aired on Saturday, June 4, has already reached one million views on the video-sharing application YouTube, indicating that many netizens were entertained and delighted by the premiere’s action-packed and humorous scenes.
Aside from the impressive number of views, the first episode also emerged victorious in TV ratings, as it obtained 12.3 percent based on the report from the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey.
In the pilot episode, viewers witnessed Major Bartolome Reynaldo (played by Revilla), also known as Tolome, battling against syndicates. Tolome had to work in an undercover operation with the trainee Patrolwoman Pretty Competente, to capture syndicate leader Juancho Dehado.
Tolome’s wife Gloria, however, mistakenly identified Pretty as her husband’s other woman. While Tolome explained that it was just an undercover operation, Gloria still did not believe it until Pretty called about the whereabouts of Juancho.
After Tolome and his team captured the syndicate leader, his disagreement with Gloria was resolved.
