On September 21, Kapamilya star Donny Pangilinan admitted he got obsessed with the multiplayer online battle arena mobile game Mobile Legends.
At the media event for their upcoming film, ‘GG (Good Game),’ which LionhearTV covered, Pangilinan cited his realization about taking his mobile gaming time in moderation.
“The good and the bad. Basta in moderation lang po. Everything naman in life, I think tama si Iggy, tama din si Mommy, it can’t be just one thing. You also have to have your limits.”
He then highlighted the goal of their upcoming film in showcasing the good and the bad in the E-Sports community.
“But I’ve also gone through that phase na medyo na-addict din ako sa ML kaya dapat di masyado. ‘Yun ang nakita ko, there are a lot of good and bad sides to ESports in general. And we have to showcase a lot of that in this movie.”
He then disclosed his recent online gaming habits, noting the platforms he plays on, such as Mobile Legends, Tetris, and Valorant.
“Ako naman, ano bang nilalaro ko, ML siyempre. Tetris, nagte-Tetris ako, magaling ako mag-Tetris, di niyo alam ‘yun ha pero magaling ako. Nagte-Tetris pala tayo sa set no, nagco-competition tayo. Valo–nagva-Valo tayo.
“Alam ni Mommy kapag naglalaro ako, wala ako sa dinner table tsaka alam niya kapag tinawagan niya ako sa cellphone, magla-lag ‘yung game. So pag tinatawagan niya ko, imposible na hindi sasagot ‘to pag-di niya sinagot, magla-lag ‘yung game, matatalo kami. So kailangan ko sagutin, bababa na ako ng dinner table.”
