Last Friday, November 24, at Market! Market! in Taguig City, the Philippines’ #1 canned sardines brand Mega Sardines held FRESH-SAYA—a fresh, fun, and festive affair that delighted young and old sardine lovers alike. This event served as the highlight of the brand’s month-long celebration of National Sardines Month.
The festivities showcased Mega’s commitment to delivering the freshest high-quality sardines to Filipino consumers. Mega Sardines brand ambassador Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo headlined the event, whipping up flavorful Mega Sardines-starring dishes.
National Sardines Day revelers enjoyed a day of fun-filled activities and also had the opportunity to embark on an immersive and gamified sardines catching-to-canning journey with Mega, gaining insight into the meticulous process that ensures the freshness and unparalleled quality of Mega Sardines products.
Attendees were able to experience the journey from sea to shelf at the interactive Mega Sardines catching-to-canning process booths that showcased how Mega Sardines are sourced, prepared, and delivered to your table, fresh and flavorful! These interactive booths allowed immersion into the brand’s process of catching, quality checking, canning, and can labeling.
There also was a Mega Sardines TikTok booth that featured a life-size Mega Sardines can that allowed for fun, quirky videos and memorable, shareable moments. Thrilling games, big raffle prizes, and a sampling and selling booth featuring dishes prepared with Mega Sardines also added to the overall remarkable fun of the festival!
